1. What is the partnership between Standard Chartered Bank and Mobi-Water?
Standard Chartered Bank has partnered with Mobitech Water Solutions Limited trading as Mobi-water to offer standard Chartered bank clients smart water metering solutions at negotiated prices.
2. What is the duration of the Partnership?
The partnership is for a period of 2 years from XXXXX to XXXXXX.
3. What is the offer?
During the term of the partnership agreement, Standard Chartered clients will benefit from discounted prices on smart meters depending on the order size of smart meters as below;

5. How do I get the Offer?
a) Contact Mobi-water at sales@mobiwater.co.ke or visit our offices at House 6, Kim’s Court Theta Lane off Lenana Road, Kilimani, Nairobi to express your interest in adopting the smart metering solutions and indicate you are a Standard Chartered client
b) Mobi-Water staff shall offer a quotation (before or after site visit) depending on client needs which will factor the applicable discount for Standard Chartered Bank clients as per the order size. Mobi-water shall ensure that each quotation has a unique reference number. The unique quotation reference number will be a running number automatically generated by Mobi-water invoicing system
6. What are the various payment options available?
a) SCB Debit or Credit Card
i. The client will present their SCB card for payment to the Mobi-water check-out staff, and the applicable discount will be applied as per raised quotation when payment is made using either SCB Debit or Credit card.
ii. If payment is made using an SCB credit card, the client may after that contact the SCB contact center to benefit from the easy payment plan (EPP). EPP will be available to the client subject to SCB policies, Terms and Conditions.
iii. Upon payment, Mobi-water will deliver the product and install it for the client as may be appropriate subject to the service level agreement entered between Mobi-water and the client.
b) Payment through personal loan advanced by SCB
i. The client shall apply for a personal loan with SCB to finance the acquisition of the smart metering solutions and will be required to attach the Mobi-water quotation.
ii. SCB will evaluate the application in line with its internal policies, terms and conditions.
iii. Upon successful evaluation and approval of the personal loan facility, SCB will disburse the funds due under the quotation.
iv. SCB will evaluate the application in line with its internal policies, terms and conditions.
v. Upon successful evaluation and approval of the personal loan facility, SCB will disburse the funds due under the quotation and include a narration that details the unique reference number directly into t Mobi-water bank account held at Standard Chartered Bank whose details will be provided by Mobi-water.
vi. The client will enjoy a discount of 1% off the loan processing fee from SCB only for the amount due to Mobi-water as per the quotation presented while the difference of the loan approved (if any) will attract a normal processing fee and will be disbursed directly into the client’s SCB bank account. The 1% discount
will be refunded to the client in the form of cashback into their SCB bank account.
viii. If the loan is not approved, the client shall communicate the outcome to Mobi-water.
c) Payment through Business loan advanced by SCB
i. The Customer shall apply for a Business Loan Facility with SCB to finance the acquisition of the smart metering solutions and will be required to attach the Mobi-water quotation.
ii. SCB shall evaluate the application in line with its internal policies, terms and conditions.
iii. Upon successful evaluation and approval of the Business Loan Facility, SCB will disburse the funds due under the quotation and include a narration that details the unique quotation reference number to the Mobi-water bank account held at Standard Chartered Bank whose details will be provided by Mobiwater.
iv. This facility will be charged 1% loan processing fee by SCB only for the amount due to Mobi-water as per the quotation presented while the difference of the loan approved (if any) will attract a normal processing fee and will be disbursed directly into the client’s account.
v. The client will be issued with an advice letter informing them that their business Loan Facility has been disbursed.
vi. Mobi-water shall deliver the product and install it for the client as may be appropriate subject to the Service Level Agreements entered between Mobi-Water and the client.
vii. If the loan facility is not approved, the client shall communicate the outcome to Mobi-water.
7. Who qualifies for this deal?
All SCB clients who purchase smart metering solutions using thei SC card or through SCB loan financing.
8. What if I don’t have an account with SCB?
The discount is only available to Standard Chartered bank clients. You will need to open an account with SCB and get your card to enjoy the discount
